CANDIDATES
Candidates for Emperor and Empress are members of the Imperial Sovereign Empire of Arizona who have stepped forward to become the Monarchs of the next reign. However, they are on voted on by the Community at large throughout the state of Arizona. Anyone with a valid Arizona state issued ID is eligible to vote.

Voting
Elections will be held Saturday, April 25, 2009 from 9am-6pm at the Days Inn at 520 W. Camelback. Absentee Ballots can be cast online between April 18th and midnight April 24th. Please join us at Coronation, May 2nd to see the newly elected Monarchs crowned.

For Empress

JaGi Joseph A. Gaxiola (aka JaGi) was born and raised here in AZ. At the tender age of 20 Joseph moved to San Diego. While there he became involved with the Imperial Court de San Diego in 1995. By the end of Reign XXVI (Emperor Randy Abatangelo and Empress Fifi) JaGi received San Diego's most valued title for non-elected members who's participation is far above the norm: Her Imperial Highness, The Golden Phoenix Crown Princess for Life. In 2004, Joseph decided to move back home to Phoenix to be closer to family and joined the Imperial Court of Arizona. She is thrilled to be back with the Court and is looking forward to helping out as much as she can with the court and its membership.

Regine Rochelle Ray Vela ( Regine Rochelle) got involved in the art of female impersonation 22 years ago in Dallas, Texas, where he was introduced to the Imperial Court of Dallas in the early 90's. Soon thereafter he joined and became the Imperial Crown Princess. He then moved to Tulsa Oklahoma and started entering bar pageants and soon started competing in the American pageant system, which was very challenging. He moved back to Phoenix Arizona in the year 2002 and found the Imperial court of Arizona and felt the need to reconnect with my position for entertaining and community service. Now she would like to see you all come and join the fun.

For Emperor

CJ "bubbaboy" Whitmer For 17 years CJ has been a member of numerous organizations and non-profit organizations where he has met all kind of wonderful people working with the Bear, Leather, and Drag Communities. About ten years ago he joined The Imperial Court System, and was a member in Dallas TX, Las Vegas, NV and now has found a home here in Arizona. During Reign III he served the Court as Prince Royale and is now your Candidate for Emperor IV of Arizona. CJ is proud of being involved with non-profit organizations that have given so much to the communities and now it's his turn to give some back.
