¨       Call To Order:   Meeting called to order at 12:13

¨       Meeting Minutes from April: There wasn’t a Board meeting in April so no minutes to approve.

¨       Treasures Report: Cris not in meeting yet so per Joe Checking: $9,770.80  Savings: $2004.34

Joe to help Cris set up the books with line items.

Old Business:

¨       Marriott Final Bill: The final bill came to $15,142.01 with the highest items being the security, food and audio visual items that we used from the hotel.  The hotel is letting us pay installments (2) so it doesn’t all come out of the account at once.    We may end up in the black; not all bills have been accounted for at this time.  Should be finalized by May 31st.

¨       Set Cost: 250 billable hours would be $18,750.00.  Don has written this part off the list.  He has bills totaling $3,874.75 to this point which includes the buses of $1,180.00.  Materials (Styrofoam) were purchased at $10.00 per sheet so Don saved us some money there.  All of the set is reusable and we can look into renting parts out for different events.

¨       Bar Tour: May have to revamp this for next year so that we can spend more time in each bar.  If we again have 8 bars we will not meet up like we did this year at three of the bars.

¨       Compensation: It was motioned by Joe to compensate Jack from Project Hardhat for doing the sound at Coronation.  He filled in at the last meeting.  His group had purchased a table and never got to sit with his group.  The motion will be for Comp Tickets for next year’s Coronation and an acrylic statue thanking him for his support and much needed help. Second by Steve, motion passed.

¨       Birdwater Party: Hosted by Eldon Kirby raised $250.00 for the Monarch’s travel fund for the coming year.  It has been discussed for next year to have a Victory party with no show afterwards.  This made for a very long day.

¨       Video of Coronation: Joe had someone video tape Coronation a little rough in spots but will let us know when copies will be made available for purchase.

¨       Membership:  Ongoing.

New Business:

¨       Nicole the Great: Steve spoke with Nicole at length about our Coronation.  She was given a great report from Rick Ford who attended our event.  We were a success and she is very proud of Arizona.  She would like to use us as a model for other Courts keeping Coronation down to 3 ½ hours.

¨       Imperial Court Council: While Nicole was in Washington DC she spoke with heads of the airlines and is looking into getting sponsorship from the major airlines to help with travel costs.  American Airlines is the first one to step up.  She will be getting surveys that need to be completed and sent back to her.  This will be for all members to complete.  If we can get this sponsorship the Imperial Court Family will be the largest 501c3 organization in the skies.

¨       San Diego Coronation: Robbie was supposed to be at our Coronation but something came up, Nicole will speak with him.  This year’s event in San Diego will be the weekend of August 3 – 5, this will also be when the Heir Apparents are sworn in for Nicole.

¨       Albuquerque: Skip, the new Emperor, has been in contact with Steve and Julie since Coronation.  What he would like to do is have Albuquerque come to Arizona to help with a fundraiser and then we would go to Albuquerque.  Then together to Colorado Springs for another fundraiser.  We will get back with Skip in the near future to talk about this, more on this later.

¨       Robes: Cris brought to the Board’s attention that Allen’s lodge is getting rid of some of their robes and would like to donate them to the Court.

¨       Prescott Pride: Julie, Michael, Regine, Richard, Rikki and Bruno went to their Pride on Saturday May19th.  It was very quaint and people seemed excited that we were there.  Everyone was extremely hospitable.

¨       Jim Worley: From Gentle Shepherd MCC had cancer and is very ill.  Please keep in your thoughts and prayers.

¨       Investiture: June 02, 2007 6:30pm – 9:00pm at The Rock.  Craig and I have spoken with Joe at The Rock and he is excited about us being back again.  He will check into audio and lights for us for the evening.  The first half will be for Don and Justice as their step down night.  They will give out some awards, have a command each, have those in attendance greet them and then have their step down numbers.  The second half will be for Julie and Michael to name their line titles for Reign II.  Afterward we will hang out for awhile and then bar hop.  What we would like to do is since we will all be there is to get our photos done so we don’t have to track everyone down.  Invite all of your friend’s and have a great time.  Suggested $5.00 cover at the door.  We will be having some out of town people at this event.

¨       Liz St James and Jeff Muir: Putting together a function at the American Legion on June 16th from 8-11.  This will be called St Swiggins (sorry for the spelling).  It will be night of comedy numbers.  This is for the Legion ½ the money will go directly to the Legion and the other ½ will go to one of their charities.  Please contact Liz or Jeff for more information.

¨       October 15th: Form 990 due to the IRS.
