June: Joe moved to approve the minutes with second

by Chris, moved by Joe and second by Don to approve report (passed). Checking: $788.52 Savings: $2001.01
Four members to pay dues at today’s general
meeting. There are two checks outstanding,
one for $100.00 for Minnesota Coronation Ad and one for $50.00 for San Diego
Coronation Ad.

¨ Doug Giffore: Tax
Accountant for Men’s Chorale, he needs us to go over the 1023 (501c3) forms
sign and mail in with $500.00 check.
This will give our Corporation Tax Exempt status nationwide and locally
it may show as a discount. There is a
meeting scheduled with him in his office on July 26 at
It was moved by Chris and second by Joe to move $500.00 from savings to checking to pay the fee for the 1023 to the state (passed). Money to be put back into savings at a later date.
¨ Rainbow Festival: Johnny
from FLAVAZ Magazine has offered the court to share The Flavaz booth at the
festival. Steve will check if there is a
fee to do so. We may also be able to
hand out literature at the AGAPE booth.
Moved by Joe and second by Don to check with FLAVAZ &/or Agape
(passed).
¨ Sizzle:
Benefit for The Agape Network sponsored by Red Magazine and Gentle Shepherd
¨ Website:
Joe to email Jessica’s version of the website to Board Members. Moved by Chris and second by Steve to allow
Joe, Stephen Bloom and Boy Joe to check out different web carriers and report
back to the board.
¨ Court Photographer:
Chris moved and second by Michael to have Wayne Young be the photographer with the
stipulation the he takes pictures of performers and audience members. This way it will not just be the same people
on the website all the time (passed).
¨ Halloween Ball:
Friday October 13: This would be a 50/50 split with Flavaz Magazine and the
Court, to be held at a warehouse provided by Kevin Andrews. This warehouse will hold up to 600 people and
there would be a cover of $25.00 per person at the door. Everyone that enters must have a valid ID and
everyone will be banded as to whether they are able to consume alcohol or not.
Budweiser to help out as much as they can.
Since we are a 501c3 organization we should be able to get a 24-hour
liquor license from the city. We will
have to contact Tambra Williams for security.
Committee to consist of Steve, Don, Johnny from Flavaz and Derrick from
Budweiser. Moved by Joe second by Don to
go ahead with plans to get this moving. We
will also need to speak with Johnny if this is a CD launch party. Some of the giveaways include Circle K gas
for 1 year, Flat screen TV, and many more prizes from local organizations and
bars. This will be a possibility of the
Court making a lot of money for the organization.
¨ Tom Simplot: There
is a motion by Joe second by Chris to call Tom’s office to get more information
on a Teen Halfway House in the city of

Motion by Joe second by Don to approve $72.00 for the mailbox for another 12
months (passed).

to get new signature cards to add Chris and Craig to the checking account to
sign checks. He will let them know what
is needed from each of them.
