¨ We couldn’t vote on anything since we didn’t have a quorum.

¨ Call To Order: Meeting called to order at 12:15

¨ Meeting Minutes From July: Craig moved to approve the minutes with second by Cris for July Board Meeting (passed).

¨ Treasures Report: Read by Cris: moved by Michael and second by Craig to approve report (passed). Checking: $1,492.69 Savings: $2001,35

Cris has the spreadsheets for the following and will be collecting money at the General Membership meeting. These are for Name Tags, Business Cards & The Miss Gay Arizona Pageant.

Old Business:

¨ Doug Giffore IRS 1023 Form/Filing: The information has been mailed to Joe. We can get together to go over it, then file with $500.00 check. This will give our Corporation Tax Exempt status nationwide and locally it may show as a discount. I believe that if we have any questions we can contact Doug.

It was moved by Chris and second by Joe to move $500.00 from savings to checking to pay the fee for the 1023 to the state (passed). Money to be put back into savings at a later date.

¨ Rainbow Festival: Checking into the possibility of sharing a booth with either FLAVAZ or Agape. Ron would like us to share their booth. Steve was to check with FLAVAZ to see is there was a fee. Tabled

¨ Sizzle: Sponsored by MCC and Red Magazine, raised $6,245.00 for Agape, they also received a check from MCC Gentle Shepherd for $15,000.

¨ Website: Up and running take a look at www.imperialcourtaz.org

¨ Tom Simplot: Joe has left messages with his office to get information on the Teen Halfway House, no response.

¨ Las Vegas Grand Duke & Duchess Ball: Sandy, Gaby, Lady Joy, Miss Ebony and Craig had a wonderful time. They all received awards from Civil and Uncle Bill. The Court was presented the “Best in Theme Award” on Sunday morning at brunch.

New Business:

¨ Halloween Ball: Tabled until Steve returned from Minneapolis. Went over the original expenses that we would have incurred.

¨ Upcoming Events:

August: 60’s, 70’s, 80’s show at Plazma Held by Marquessa Ashley and Marquis Stephen

September: Speak-Easy Sam’s: A Tribute to the Roaring 20’s at Pumphouse II Princess Tiffany and Prince Joe

October: Hellfire Ball TBD Emperer Steve Lafata

November: Un-versay Party TBD Grand Duke Gaby and Grand Duchess Sandy

December: Winter Wonderland at Nu-Towne Countess Jazmine and Count Cris (Cris has purchased some items for raffles and auctions already)

¨ Artist: Don asked that we begin looking for someone to help with set decoration, painting, etc. for the upcoming Coronation.

¨ Membership Drive: Try to come up with ideas to bolster the membership for the court, possibly tying in Tucson and Flagstaff. Cris is working on some ideas for Flagstaff.

¨ Portraits for Board and Line Members: To be discussed in the General Membership Meeting.

¨ Bios for Board and Line Members: Discussed on length of bio, should be kept to a minimum.
