General
Membership Meeting was called to order by Emperor Michael Gaffney at 2:10pm
Minutes
from the January 2008 meeting were out on the website. A motion to accept the minutes as written and
posted was made by Gary Munson, 2nd Dominic Gonzalez,
Treasurer’s
Report from January 2008 was not given at this time due to Cris Cringle’s
absence. Joe Kunkel gave a quick update on the new
bookkeeping spreadsheets. Cris made it
and gave us the update. Cris Cringle made
the motion to accept as read, 2nd
by Joe Kunkel and approved.

This
Is H.O.W. Benefit on February 2nd – Empress Julie gave thanks to
everyone for pulling that one out and raising $360.00.
·
Logan’s
Playground (Summer Camp) February 9th – The Monarchs thanked the
Grand Duke and Duchess, Gaby and Sandy for this wonderful show. There were a lot of other events that same
evening, but we still have fun and raised $274 for Logan’s Playground.

PFLAG
Benefit February 16th –
thanks to Baron and Baroness Jeff /DeeDee for pulling off a wonderful show on
such short notice. It was a fun evening
and well attended. Thanks to all the performers,
raffles sellers, money counters, and soundmen.
$1,000 was raised at the Rock.

Business:

Super
Bowl Party has been offered to us along with the major holidays at Kobalt. The court has accepted these wonderful
events. The new reign will have to
decide whether to do them or have them as extra fundraising events.

Coronation
Meetings on Wednesday nights at Joe’s house.
Need to sell ads and sponsorships.
Munchies for coronation $1,000.
Coronation is going well and we will have a timeline for getting stuff
ready for Coronation.

Painting
party at 10am on Saturday the 23rd at Joe’s house. Need to get Crowne’s logo so use. Contact Kara and Nancy.
o
JaGi
and Gary will be in charge of the opening production number for Coronation.

Those
not going to Long Beach are welcome to attend Southwest Leather. See Gaby and Sandy.
·
NYC
Coronation – Michael, Julie and Bill Travis will be attending.
·
PR
Team – needs volunteers. Please get
involved if you like writing.
·
Apollo
show March 23rd. We don’t
have to do anything, but show up in court attire. ½ to the court, ½ to Project Hard Hat. Joe Kunkel will get Jack and Bill’s phone
number to Michael and Julie.
·
Monarch’s
Roast will be at the Friends on March 15th 6pm until 10pm.
·
Gay
Pride volunteers for soda and water booths.
Send out an email.

Gay
Pride parade will be 3 cars.
·
April
5th will be the PR Ball.
Joseph is working with PRIDE to have this with them as a Pre-PRIDE
function.

Monday
18th Jeff will take the check to PFLAG for their monthly meeting.
Open
Forum:
·
Sandy
presented an easy fundraiser at the Black Bear dinner. Sandy made the motion, 2nd by Mark
Bohnenkamp. Wear bling and use as
Members’ Award. It passed. Joe Kunkel will get the form completed and
turned into the diner.
Motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Joe Kunkel, 2nd Jeff Muir. Meeting was adjourned at 3:02pm.
