¨       Call To Order:  Meeting called to order at 2:05 by Joe

¨       Meeting Minutes from December: Approved.  Motion by Dominick and second by Jeff

¨       Treasures Report: $1,765.32.19 in checking and $2,003.03 in savings.

From the Roadrunner Regional Rodeo we signed up four new members.

Suggested by Cris that even though our dues are scheduled for this month he would like to have everyone on the same time frame of June – May.  That means for those that paid their $100.00 for the next year each owe another $50.00 to make current.  Motion by Craig and second by Dominick, approved.

Old Business:

¨       Bio’s and Photos: The first reign is almost over and not everyone has had their picture taken by Wayne or given their Bio to Boy Joe.  Per Joe this must be done by the next meeting or Wayne will bring in his camera and take a picture of those left in whatever they are wearing.

¨       Gay Pride: Float and Cars – Ashley now online to complete the application.  Cars needed but can only take up so much space in the parade.  Suggestion of a flatbed too expensive at $300.00.  So the suggestion is for two cars; one for the Monarchs and one for the Board.  The line will be performing “Best Little Whorehouse in Texas”.  All will be involved in a one hour segment I believe on the Community Stage.  We have the possibility of working either one of the beer tents or a water/soda booth to raise money for the Court.  This is being looked into by Michael and Craig with Jimmy from Gay Pride.  Everyone will need to be involved in this also, it will be for Saturday and Sunday.  We need a point person for the Pride weekend.  Lady Joy and Morrie volunteered.  Please everyone step up and not wait to be asked to help out.

¨       Membership: Keep getting new members.

¨       Roadrunner Regional Rodeo: Joseph, Justice, Craig, Michael, Lady Joy, Cris, Stephen, Steve and Joe manned the booth at the rodeo.  This was a fun event for everyone and we met so many wonderful people.  From Craig – he was sorry to see that only 9 people helped that weekend out of 30 members.  We all need to help out more.

¨       Southwest Leather Conference: Very good time and met more wonderful people.  Thank you to Paul, Lady Joy, Joseph, Justice, Joe, Steve Ashley and Michael.  Sign up to help next year.

New Business:

¨       Turnabout Show at Charlie’s: Everything is set to go, a group of us met with Kevin to discuss the big night.  Everything has been taken care of, Craig and Michael will ask Friend’s to loan us some chairs.  There may be a Chinese Auction to shave Cris’ beard off before the show.  Male line is all to be there in drag.  Rehearsal for female line on Thursday and male line on Wednesday.

¨       February Cupids on Fire: Hosted by Prince Royal Don and Princess Royal Justice.  This will be held on Sunday February 11 from 3:00 to 6:30.  Don has gotten other organizations in town to help with entertainment including: Men’s Chorale, Drag Kings, Female cloggers and others from out of town.  This will benefit the Wellness House ad 501c3 organization that receives no government subsidies.   We will be selling Love Potion #9 (jello shots).  Lisa the owner expects us to raise in excess of $5,000.00.

¨       Empress’ Ball: February 24 – This is a State Function and all should be present.  Posters will be out soon, tickets are on sale online through PayPal.  This function will be similar to Coronation just a smaller venue.  The hall holds 180 people and we are selling 200 tickets.  Jennifer is still in need of silent auction items.  We will all be there to setup and take down.  Making masks to sell at the door will be done at Joe’s house, time to be announced later.  Commands to include an Empress from San Diego, Anita Richman from Phoenix, etc.  An Empress from Modesto Contra Costa will also be in attendance but not performing.  Jeff Muir is in charge of food for the evening, mainly finger food.  There will be raffles, silent auctions, and a 50/50 raffle.  The opening number will be Masquerade.

¨       March: Hosted by Baroness Dee Dee Deviant on March 10th at Bunkhouse, The Fabulous 70’s.  He has no benefactor yet, I suggested after the meeting to have this one for MCC Gentle Shepherd.  He will get approval for this.  Also during his show we will be announcing to the community the Candidates for Emperor and Empress for Reign II.

¨       March 17: Sylvia from MCC Gentle Shepherd asked the Court to help with another fundraiser they are hosting for the Church.  This will be similar to the Halloween show that they hosted.  Talk to Craig if you are interested in helping.

¨       April: Don Jeff and Dame Regine are hosting a benefit on April 21st at The Rock.  The theme for this evening will be The Grand Ole Opry.

¨       May 4, 5 & 6: Coronation II to be held at The Marriott Airport Hotel on 44th St and Loop 202.  The Coronation Committee will begin meeting on Wednesday February 7th at Kobalt. Joe to start putting packages together.

¨       Coronation: The Marriott has free shuttle to and from the airport.  You can get a free upgrade to a suite for the same price as a regular room.

-          Package prices for the weekend and tables will be sold online.  Package price for one person for the weekend is $65.00.  Table of 8 will run $250.00.

-          Everyone will need to help with setup and take down for Coronation.

-          Corporate Sponsorship is up to everyone to help sell.  The  more we can sign up the less we will have out of pocket.

-          Ball Coordinators will Liz St James and Truly LaFemme for both Friday and Saturday night.

¨       Bud Light: Steve to meet with April at Bunkhouse to get posters and discuss proposal to Henley.  Everyone will need to help with putting up posters.

¨       Males and Females: Interested Candidates for Emperor II and Empress II hopefully will be done by March 10 so they can be announced at the Bunkhouse show.  Joe and John to get the applications, questions, etc. together prior.

¨       Candidates: Email Joe with intent or any questions that you may have.

¨       Upcoming Events:

January 27: Turnabout Show at Charlie’s.  The female line dressed as male will open with There is Nothing Like a Dame from South Pacific and the guys as girls will open up with a number from Dream Girls.  Lady Joy has requested that the line titles do at least one duet with each other and then another duet or each person a single.  More to come later.  The posters are printed and ready to deliver but we will wait until January 5th after the holidays.  We will be in need of a spotlight for this show.

February 10th: Cupids on Fire to be held at Cash Inn hosted by Prince Royal Don Hilton and Princess Royal Justice Prevails.  This will possibly benefit Wellness House a place for cancer patients to go after their Chemo treatments, etc. to rest and have something to eat.  They also provide rehab at discounted prices.  I looked online and I think this is the correct website.  Please let me know if I have the wrong one. http://www.twccaz.org/about.htm

Please get posters ready for Stephen Bloom.  Don to have others in the community to help perform that way the members don’t have to do more than one number.  Don will also meet with Lisa at Cash Inn to go over the details.  He will have some of the cloggers in town perform also.

¨       Meeting Minutes: These will now be posted on our website.  It will be up to each individual to go online and read these before the next meeting.  Bring any changes or additions to the meeting.

¨       Membership List: I am updating the membership list to include names, addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses.  This will be sent out to each member via the email so that everyone has contact numbers.  If there are any changes to be made please email me (Michael Gaffney).
