¨       Call To Order:  Meeting called to order at 2:05 by Steve and Joe

 

¨       Meeting Minutes from February:  Tabled

 

¨       Treasures Report: $3,293.42 in checking and $2,003.37 in savings.

Same as last month didn’t have the current report.  Financials for June 2006 – December 2006 ready to publish.

 

 

Old Business:

 

¨       Bio’s and Photos: Almost completed. 

¨       Thank You’s: Thank you’s were give by Joe and Steve for those that helped with the Church St Patty’s Day Show.  We raised $1645.00 for the Church to help out with bills, etc.

¨       Sheriff’s Pink Party: Thank you for those that helped and participated in the fundraiser for Logan’s Playground held at The Bunkhouse.  We raised just short of $300.00 but Jeremy at Bunkhouse helped out and made it an even $300.00.

Coronation Meetings: Are held every Wednesday at 6:30 at Kobalt.  Below are the committees so far.  Remember that you can be on more than one committee.

¨       Monarch’s Roast: March 24 – This is will be held at Friend’s at 7:00pm.  It will cost each person $5.00 to roast the Monarch’s, remember they have the last word of the night.  The proceeds from the show will also go to Logan’s Playground to add to the proceeds from The Bunkhouse. 

¨       Out of Town: Steve and Joe will be out of town March 29th – April 1st to attend New York’s Coronation.

¨       Gay Pride: Very big event for the Court.  We will be in the parade, manning a soda/eater booth and performing on the Community Stage for an hour on Saturday.  Joe will be looking into the cost of three convertibles from Hertz.  We will need volunteers to pick up the cars, drive in the parade, park the cars and return them to Hertz.  The stage production will the Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.  Remember there will be shuttles from the bars to the festival grounds but I don’t think they start until 1:00pm.  Joseph and Justice have volunteered for early Saturday and Don and Ray have volunteered for early Sunday.

¨       April 21st: Don Jeff and Dame Regine’s fundraiser at The Rock.  A Night at the Grand Ol Oprey.  We have a volunteer to help sell raffle tickets that night.  Jeff and Regine still trying to work out how to set up the bar for that night.  The beneficiary will be Project Hardhat.  Lighting still needs to be worked out it was suggested to talk to Wayne and set it up similar to how we did the Christmas Show at Kobalt.  Sound may be done by Henry and Marie again.

¨       Voting: April 28th from 10:00am to 6:00pm at MCC Gentle Shepherd Church.  Must show valid AZ drivers license or state issued ID.

¨       APEX: We brought up with Justice that maybe someone from the Court, other than Justice, Joseph or Stephen, go to a meeting on a Monday and talk about the Court.  Justice will check into this for us.

¨       Coronation: These next few days are going to be very busy.  Ken Barker is in town from Denver to help with this year’s set. 

¨       Program: Will be in color and glossy for each page.

¨       Corporate Sponsorship: We have already contacted the bars for the Bar Tour except a couple, those will be taken care of this week.  We need everyone’s help selling ads and sponsorships.  Bus Tour will consist of Kobalt, The Bunkhouse, Friend’s, The Rock, Cruisin’ 7th (still need to contact), Plazma (Michael will contact), Cash Inn Country (Don has message for Lisa), Charlie’s (Cris to set up appointment for him, Steve and John King).  Another bar yet to be contacted is Padlock.  Sponsorship forms and ad information is online at www.imperialcourtaz.org.  You can print any of the forms off this site.  Also look at other businesses in your area that might be interested in buying an ad for the program.  Remember there will be a lot of in town people also at Coronation.  The more ads we sell the better because then the program will be paid for.

¨       Line Titles: It was discussed that even though you are on Steve and Jennifer’s line you aren’t automatically put on the line for the next reign.  For those that haven’t participated you may not get on the next line.  You have to showing a willingness to work and be available in order to looked upon for another line title.  Please show up for meetings and events that we are involved in and to help where available.  The new Emperor and Empress will look at all aspects before asking someone to be on their line for next year.  The new Monarch’s can’t approach current line members until after Coronation.  They have a month to chose their line and get ready for Investiture.  The new Monarch’s will need the support of the whole membership not just the line titles.

¨       Investiture: Will be held one month after Coronation.  Location and time yet to be determined.  Justice as volunteered to help with this event.

¨       March 24th: Monarch’s Roast at Friend’s hosted by Liz St James and Truly LaFemme.  Show time is 7:00pm.

¨       April 14 – 15: Gay Pride we will be working the soda/water booth both days.

¨       April 21st: Don Jeff and Dame Regine to host A Night at the Grand Ol Oprey.  This will be held at The Rock and benefit Project Hardhat. 

¨       Mary 4- 6: Coronation weekend.

 

Open Forum:

 

-          Look for signup sheets from Joe for the chorus March 31 – April 1 to help with the Silent Auction.
