¨       Call To Order:  Meeting called to order at 2:07pm by Joe Kunkel

 

¨       Meeting Minutes from April: Skipped this one. 

 

¨       Treasures Report: Checking $9,770.80 Savings $2,004.34

 

Old Business:

 

¨       At Large Position: There is an At Large Board position available and will be voted on later in the meeting.  This will be the seventh member of the Board along with President, Vice-Presidents, Treasurer, Secretary and Co-Founders.   

¨       Coronation: Wrap up still getting bills in for that weekend.  Should have the final tally by May 31st.  The Marriott Hotel is excited about next year but will have to bid for Coronation just like the other hotels.  Thank you to all who attended, helped with the ballroom setup and take down and hospitality room. 

¨       Nicole the Great: Steve spoke with Nicole at length about our Coronation.  She was given a great report from Rick Ford who attended our event.  We were a success and she is very proud of Arizona.  She would like to use us as a model for other Courts keeping Coronation down to 3 ½ hours.

¨       Investiture: June 2nd at The Rock from 6:30pm to 9:00pm.  This is a State Function so attire is Semi- formal to Formal.  The first half will be for Don and Justice to step down ending Reign I.  The second set is for Julie and Michael to name their new line of succession.

¨       Pride in the Pines Flagstaff: This will be the weekend of June 9-10.  Let’s discuss to see who wants to attend and maybe we can all ride together. 

¨       Charlie’s: June 23rd on the patio.  This will be the first fundraiser for Reign II.  This will be for Gentle Shepherd MCC so we will need performers and raffle or auction items.  We would like those from Reign I to also participate if available. 

¨       Southwest Leather Pride: June 15-17 and the Court may be asked to help out with events as in the past.

¨       San Diego Coronation: Held August 4-6 and this will also be when Steve is inducted as Heir Apparent to Nicole.

¨       ICC: Nicole is forming A new parliament.

¨       ICC: While Nicole was in Washington DC she spoke with heads of the airlines and is looking into getting sponsorship from the major airlines to help with travel costs.  American Airlines is the first one to step up.  She will be getting surveys that need to be completed and sent back to her.  This will be for all members to complete.  If we can get this sponsorship the Imperial Court Family will be the largest 501c3 organization in the skies.    

¨       At Large Board Member: Nominations Sandy LaFrance, Stephen Bloom (declined) and Mark Bohnenkamp.  Both Sandy and Mark were given a few minutes to tell the whole membership a little about themselves.  The voting took place immediately after that.  The will was Mark and he will be at that position for 1 year.  Thank you both. 

¨       Coronation Video: Joe had a friend videotape Coronation.  They are in the process of merging and editing the final clip.

¨       Coronation: Las Vegas was very impresses with our Coronation and set.  Thank you Don for all of the hard work you put into this.  Thank you to everyone else that put in time with the set both at Don’s house and the hotel.  Special thanks to Rikki and Bruno for volunteering their time at Don’s house.
