I.
Call
to order at 2:05pm by Emperor II Michael Gaffney
II.
Approval
of Minutes from the August 16th members’ meeting – Cris Cringle made a motion
to approve the minutes as posted on the website, 2nd CJ Whitmer. All approved.
III.
Approval
of the Treasurer’s Report – Cris Cringle presented the report (need
numbers). Empress II Julie Craig made
the motion to accept as read, 2nd by Grand Duke Gaby Tako. All approved.
IV.
Old
Business:
·
Labor Day Show – Julie reported that
the Labor Day Show went very well.
Kobalt has extended the offer for the court to do the Memorial Day and
Labor Day shows permanently from now on.
·
Las Vegas For the Party went very
well raising more than $1,300 for the court, travel fund and Coronation III.
·
Name Tags and Lanyards – Most
everyone has their name tags and lanyards.
CJ’s name is spelled wrong and we will replace it when the next name tag
order goes in.
·
Business Cards – Most everyone has
their business cards in. If you have not
gotten them see Cris Cringle to pay for them and he will order them through Ron
Caputo.
·
Alaska Coronation – Michael had a
good time in Alaska. Was a unique
coronation, but made some new friends and have people coming to Arizona for Coronation
III.
V.
New
Business:
·
Parliamentary
position – Heir Steve LaFata brought to the members the information about the
new Parliament that will be formed to help the new Heirs and Nicole with ideas
and plans for the new ICS. The
parliament will first convene in San Diego next August. All courts are to elect a person to serve on
the Parliament for a 2 year term. This
person should be from the general membership and not a past or present monarch
or board member.

One
Building Four Stories – Grand Duke Gaby presented a new play that is being read
here in the valley to benefit
·
Regin
Gazelle – Talk about the benefit for This Is H.O.W. to be held on September 22nd
at the Community Church of Hope. The
night will be filled with gaming, food, fashions and entertainment. She has asked the court to help with the
50/50 raffle and 5 performers. The
tickets are $100 a piece. The court will
get in free with their medallions.

Rummage
Sale – September 29th the Court will hold a yard sale from 6am until
2pm at the Rock. Bring all of your new
or used items for the sale that morning and we will price them. Jeff is bringing breakfast for the court
workers. We need tables and racks for
the clothing items and other items. If
the item is too big (ie. Couch), then take a picture and the buyer can arrange
to pick it up from the place that it is housed.

Pimps
and Hoes Show – Prince Stephen Bloom and Princess Anita Richman are in charge
of this event and it will be held at the Cell Block. Time is 9pm and the benefit is for Arizona
Project for the Blind. So everyone bring
your best pimp and whore attire and number.
·
Henry’s
Health – Baron Jeff Muir reported that Marquee Henry Tank is home from hospital
and doing well. He did have a mild
stroke, but should recover fully. Henry
and Marie thank the court and all the people who stopped by to wish him well.
·
Rainbows
Festival – Michael and Julie reported that we will be getting more information
on the Rainbows Festival, but Bill Travis reported that we could share space
with In Touch Magazine to help with the cost of getting our own booth.
·
Tucson
Pride – October 13th in Tucson.
The Monarchs would like to go down for the day just like they did for
Flagstaff. All those who would like to
go need to get in touch with either Julie or Michael.
·
Turkey
Drive – Michael put it before the membership whether or not to participate in
the Annual Turkey Drive for the food banks.
The court will not be a sponsor this year, but individuals may sell
tickets if they want to.
·
Macy’s
Shop for the Cause – The Biltmore Macy’s contacted us and said they didn’t
receive all the paperwork. Jennifer/Joe
has sent in the rest of the paperwork and we are waiting for tickets to be
given to us. The people that purchase
the tickets may use them on October 13th (the actual day) or within
30 days of that date to receive their discount and be entered into a drawing
for a $500 Macy’s Gift Card.

Emperor’s
Ball – October 20th, Michael is still working on a venue and theme.
·
Gentle
Shepherd MCC’s Ghoulish Ghastly Ghostly Show will be on October 27th
from 5:30 until around 10pm. The court
has met with Auntie Hyacinth and will be working with her on this show. The funds will not come through the court,
but the court will get credit for the money raised.

Dallas
Coronation November 2-4, Michael and Julie will be attending
·
Colorado
Springs Coronation November 2-4, Steve and Jennifer will be attending
·
Las
Vegas Coronation Nov. 30 – Dec. 2, everyone will be attending. Joseph and Justice are in charge of costuming
and make up. We will be going in theme
for The Nightmare before Christmas.
·
Christmas
Show December 8th – Cris Cringle and Ms. Ebony are in charge of this
show that will be held once again at Kobalt.
·
December
16th at Charlie’s – The Court will be involved with that show for
the 18 Days of Christmas. Pussy will be
in charge and we need 4 performers. The
court will get to choose the charity.
VI.
Open
Forum:
·
Bill
Travis brought to the members that since FLAVAZ magazine is only online now, In
Touch would like to be the major printed magazine sponsor for the Court. He will get more information and have Gina
get in touch with the Board for a decision to be made.
