A native of Minnesota, I joined the ICS in Dallas, Tx and was a member of court for 7 years. During my stay at the United Court of the Lone Star Empire, I was appointed Princess Royal III (Karin Raye). During this time at court, I represented their majesties to various other courts such as San Diego and Denver. I assisted with the various functions of court, including fundraiI have been involved with the Imperial Court System (ICS), on and off , since sers and community outreach. Through the intervening years, I was involved with drag communities with many charities and fundraising to benefit many of our sister and brother communities. After a hiatus away from court, I rejoined the Imperial Court System in 2007. As a member of Emperor II Michael and Empress II Julie’s court of the Imperial Sovereign Empire of Arizona,(on the male line), I became reacquainted with the ways of court. It was during reign III that I received the “Spirit of Service” award from Princess Royal III Jagi. During this reign, I was appointed Duke and was awarded the “Outstanding Male Line Title” award. For reign IV, I was appointed Grand Duke within the court of their Majesties, CJ and Regine. As Grand Duke, I have assisted the court through various activities to raise several thousand dollars that benefits our community and our brother and sister communities within the Valley of the Sun. Grand Duke - Dr. Connie "Brick" Mullen Dr. Mullen comes from a small town in Missouri. She is an only child. She has gown up here in Arizona. She has been very active in the community for years. She is and has been an active Mental health professional for over 35 years here in the Valley. She currently has a private practice as well as is employee by a Valley agency. She feels very strong about supporting and giving back to the community. Dr. Mullen also has a strong interest and talent for art. She is the founder of Mi Arts Original.			Grand Duchess - Paula Sha Robert Tencate aka Paula Sha has been involved in female illusion for over 20 years. She has the distinct honor of being the only Female illusionist to have won Miss Phoenix Gay Pride twice. She was born in Chicago and Robert moved to Arizona in 1985 and has worked in the gay community since then.  Some of Paulas accomplishments include Miss Gay West Coast, Grand Dutchess of The Imperial Court of Arizona Reign V, and the Current Reigning Miss Kobalt. One of Paulas favorite things to do is raise money for her favorite charities. Some of her favorites include LADS, Heart Foundation, Arizona Cancer Charities and many others.  She has been a friend of the court since the beginning  of Reign I and joined the court during Reign III. She is honored to be the Grand Dutchess to Reign V and looks forward to many more years with the Arizona Court.
Duke - Don Burns Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, I moved to Phoenix, Arizona, in 1993. I worked for Phillips & Lyon here as a paralegal for fourteen years, from 1993 to 2007. In December, 2004, I graduated from Arizona State University magna cum laude with a B.S. in Justice Studies, and in 2009, I graduated from the Phoenix School of Law with a Juris Doctorate (law degree). During law school, I clerked for Judge Kennedy in the Mayer Justice Court and assisted an attorney in the Prescott area part-time. I also was selected to serve as a Justice on the Honor Court of the Phoenix School of Law, and I served two terms as President of Justice For All, the campus gay, lesbian and transgendered student group. Although I started taking photos as a kid, I didn't start thinking of photography professionally until the mid-1990s, when the personal injury law firm I worked for as a paralegal employed me (amongst other things) to take photos of injuries, damaged vehicles and accident scenes. I realized that there was a larger world out there, just waiting to be captured on film. In 2004, I won my first photography contest, the Phoenix Convention & Visitor's Bureau Amateur Digital Photo Contest. More awards and successes followed. In 2008, my first gallery exhibition occurred in the summer at the Irish Cultural Center, and for a time, I had a collection of framed photos in Gallery Celtica at 509 East Roosevelt in downtown Phoenix. During law school, I was the chief photographer for most school events and functions. I joined the Imperial Court of Arizona at the end of Reign II, and was appointed a Count in Reign III and a Marquis in Reign IV. Since my joining the court, I have become the de facto court photographer. I presently work as the Director of the Lawyer Referral Service of the Maricopa County Bar Association at the moment. I moved back to central Phoenix in October 2009, and I have one dog -- Peanut...a/k/a the "crack puppy." I enjoy photography (duh!), hiking (occasionally lead hikes with Hike In Phoenix LLC), traveling, writing, cars, computer gaming (Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War) and Dungeons & Dragons (I'm DMing 4e with a dedicated group of friends right now).			Duchess - Lady Christian Lady Christian is a native to Arizona. She has been performing in Arizona for 3 years. She host several shows in the valley and is the 2010 recipient of the Barbra Seville Golden Wig Head Award for Comedic Performance.  She is proud of all the work she has done and continues to do throughout the community. This is her second year as a member of the Court and is honored to be Dutchess to Reign V.

Marquis - Kenneth Anthony Kenneth Anthony joined the Imperial Court of Arizona during Reign III, encouraged by the good work he saw being done and the sense of family and community that was fostered by the court. He served as one of the ball coordinators for Coronations IV and V, and as Lt. Commander of the Imperial Leather Guard, Talons of the Phoenix for Reign IV. He is a member of the House of O’My Goch and was awarded the camp title of “Dark Angel of Fantasy” by HMIM Chloe Stone, Empress XLV of Portland, OR#. Kenneth is active in the leather community, living the life 24/7 with his slaveboy marcus and serving on the board of directors for two local leather organizations. He is also a co-founder of the Arizona Pups and Handlers and a co-producer of the Mr. Phoenix Leather Contest. In his free time he makes art with his friends at Nearly Naked Theatre as a resident stage manager and back stage technician.			Marquessa -Sherrilynn Bill VanTassell {A.K.A Sherri Lynn} was born and raised in Binghamton, NY. In 1988, Bill moved to Rochester, NY where he became involved in various organizations. Such as The Rochester Rangers. A non-profit organization who held fundraisers for other organizations. Also, Bill became a NYS marriage ambassador in 2005. Bill has been involved in many choirs and enjoy singing in groups. He is a member of Gentle Shepard Metropolitan Community Church. Bill continues to look for ways to help out the community. In 1991, Bill moved to San Francisco, CA where he was introduced to The Imperial Court for the first time. Bill soon became good friends with members of the court and helped out at several functions. In 2007, Bill moved to Phoenix and joined the court during the 2nd reign.
