Think you have what it takes?
You’re cordially invited by The Imperial Court of Arizona, Emperor Carrington Hall Dubois, Empress Nikki Knowles, Lord Jeremy Bright and Lady Aubrey Ghalichi to HOLY GUACAMOLE – a Guacamole Contest that’s Sinfully Delicious.
Enter to submit your entry into the contest! Entry deadline for registration and payment is Thursday, June 24th at 11:59 pm. Registration is $20 per guacamole entry.
Each participant should arrive at 2:30pm on Sunday, June 27th to check-in and set-up with at least 1 Gallon of Guacamole. Tasting Cups and Scoops will be provided. A tablecloth, card with your name and the name of your guacamole and a voting bucket will also be provided. You’ll have approximately 2.5’ x 2.5’ to decorate your space if you wish!
Three winners will be chosen, including:
~ People’s Choice
~ Emperor & Empress’ Choice
~ Phoenix Storm Rugby’s Choice
Be sure to invite out your friends and encourage them to vote and talk-up your entry! Each winner will receive gift baskets filled with Guacamole related prizes to boost your Guacamole Game, and you’ll have bragging rights all year long!
Tips: Guacamole has a tendency to turn brown relatively quickly. We recommend googling “How to keep guacamole green” where you can find a ton of tips for ways to keep your entry looking as fresh and green as possible!
Kobalt Bar opens their doors on Sunday, June 27th from 3pm – 5pm for the 1st Annual HOLY GUACAMOLE! Tasting contest benefiting the Phoenix Storm Rugby Football Club.
Admission is $5 and includes a tasting kit filled with chips, tasting cups, Tajin packets, Limon 7 packets, voting tickets and all kinds of goodies! Additional voting tickets are available for $1 each!
Lady Aubrey Ghalichi and Lord Jeremy Bright will host the competition and entertainment – including a traditional, rowdy and irreverent Pub Song Singalong with the Phoenix Storm Rugby Football Club! Challenge the Team to sing more versus at $10 a verse! If they accept the challenge and miss a verse, they’ll have to “Shoot the Boot” – and you don’t want to miss it!!
We’ll also be auctioning-off 3 hunky Rugby Players for a “With You” date night at a local restaurant! The winning couples will receive a gift card to the local restaurant, flowers, and a swag bag of goodies to make the evening amazing!
Finally, 3 Guacamole Contest Winners will be announced for: ~ People’s Choice
